ARES

Autonomous Resilient Edge Swarming

ARES is a secure autonomy framework designed to enable decentralized coordination and resilient communication across teams of unmanned systems. Purpose-built for operation in contested and GPS-denied environments, ARES allows distributed platforms to adapt, communicate, and maneuver independently of centralized control. The system blends secure communications, collaborative decision-making, and flexible path execution to maintain mission effectiveness under denied, degraded, and dynamic conditions.

ARES supports autonomous operation at the tactical edge, where traditional links are unreliable or unavailable. It enables secure swarm formation, mission-state synchronization, and adaptive routing across mobile nodes in a lightweight, platform-agnostic package. By allowing unmanned systems to collaborate in real time under threat, ARES enhances operational flexibility and persistence in complex environments.

Compatible with modern autopilot frameworks, edge processors, and mesh communications systems, ARES integrates into a wide range of Group 1–3 UAS platforms and tactical autonomy stacks. It is engineered to support distributed ISR, overwatch, and electronic warfare missions, advancing mission resilience through secure, self-organizing swarm behavior.
